Die, Mickey, DIE!! :P~

What does one do when presented with a plate of uber cute Mickey-head pancakes and syrup?

.
Eat lah! :-)
I shared them with my kid...and he went straight for the ears!
Me: Why o?
Kid: Because they're easy to eat (Duh!)

Not even mouse-to mouse resuscitation can save it now

Basit broke my heart!

Yes he did! And it was my favourite heart too!

Oh the carnage!
I had made a mug of chamomile tea and placed it on a bookshelf to sip while I curled up and read. Basit was sitting in the giant roller chair, laptopping away, when he decided to roll back and S T R E T C H...
The scene of the crime
It was a BLOODBATH...the tragedy unfolded as the six foot goliath unintentionally smashed his arm into a not-quite-six-inch-high defenceless coffee mug, knocking it clear off the shelf, and sent it plummeting to an early end.
Heartbreaking...
An eyewitness at the crime scene described the incident as "a shattering experience."

Never to hold coffee again
The victim was known among his peers as a smashing chap who was always full of beans. However, they declined to preserve his remains for sedimental value.

Mug shot of the perpetrator
The culprit was found guilty of involuntary mugslaughter, but was let off with a stern warning plus 2 minutes of community service dishwashing, as it was supposedly his first offence.
With eyes liddis, you can get away with a mugging

Coffee mugs all over the country staged protests, insisting that the light sentence made a mocha-r of our judicial system.
Hehe I'm so jahat! Definitely my most jobless post so far.
But speaking of Basit, I was chopping ladies fingers yesterday. Just wishful thinking, but wouldn't it be nice if we could click something to align the ladies fingers to one side for easy decapitation slicing? Like Microsoft Word's Align Left, Align Right, Center...

Align LEFT!

One chop! All gone

Align RIGHT! Chop chop!
Center!

See what I mean?

Happy Feet...MY FOOT!!

The mid year exams are finally over and I'm down to my last pile of papers to mark. On the whole, the kids did great...except for the PENGUIN question. They'd learned about the five groups of vertebrates (Mammals, Birds, Fish, Reptiles and Amphibians) ages ago. And you would think that ANYONE would know that a penguin is a bird! But noooooo.....

One extremely misleading tap dancing movie later...

Cute, FURRY penguin....it must be a mammal!

LOOK! Penguins can fly...wheeeeeee!

And introducing....

Some lagi blur...classified it under reptile!

And since the penguin can swim...

It might be a FISH!
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

And one observant young fellow decided to be more specific...

Hmmm...same colour.
Similar bodies.
Both have flippers.
Looks about the same.
(except for below-par dental work for one)
Soooooo the penguin is a...

SHARK!.

At least in Finding Nemo, the shark looks like a shark!

Complete bull: A Tail of TuCows

****WARNING: Bad Cow Puns ahead ****

Once upon a time, in the quiet land of NearLimbangBorder, there lived a buncha cows and bulls.

Cows + Bull steering clear of traffic.
It never occured to them to moove anywhere, they were blissfully happy and spent all day just grazing and dozing. Or so it seemed...
Until one day, the White Cow overherd the Big Black Bull mumble sadly "I'm tired of being a bull. Perhaps I should head for greener pasteurs. I need a change :-("
"How cowardly!" snorted the White Cow.
"Don't yell at me...I'm still depressed" sobbed the Big Black Bull
"Huh...you're just milking that bullemia episode for all its worth!"
"It made me the laughing stock :-( I used to be a charging bull. Look at me now." he sobbed on.
"Yes, I remember, you nearly had a cow when they took away your credit card! But you were way pasture limit...so quit being so bull-headed now. You need to find a way to manure around your problems"
"I'm ready to bale...I dont see any udder way"
As a last resort the White Cow cried out "How cud you leave?! Didn't you promise me we would be together for heifer??"
He minced no words.

"You can argue till the cows come home...but I've made up my mind!"
Her mooving pleas fell on deaf ears. All she could do was sit back and pray for bovine intervention. The Big Black Bull put his life on steak and uddered the magic words...COWABUNGA!

He turned into a BullDozer.
The End.
Tq to Basit for the pics :)

Hats, Monkeys and Flying Car!

Yeah I know LONG time no blog :P~ Very the busy lah. Plus had the flu :-(

Herbal Tea for company

But at least now I've lotsa rojak pictures to put up :-) First is a weird one of a flying car...

Said Ron to Harry...

Okay its not really a flying car but actually perched on one of those long trailers carrying two "storeys" of cars...only you can't really see the trailer heheh. Took it on the way to tuition some time ago.

Next is my new PINK mp3/4 player...yay!

I'm in love!

Nothing really exciting has happened in the past 2 weeks, so here's pictures of hats made by Form 3 students...surface area project. The best of the lot was the Sorting Hat! Yay Harry Potter!

Hard to find the surface area though

Gryffindor Hollis!

And a graduation hat

Fake scroll provided by CP (some Form 2 paper rolled up)

Top hats

Uhh...ice cream stick hat

LOADS of hats!

So really, nothing's been happening. The most exciting thing to happen was...

a monkey on the roof of the school hall!

What could be more exciting than that?

two monkeys of the roof of the school hall!

A blur bird that flew in my house?

Or monkey on car?

Even a flat tyre last Saturday was the highlight of our week. Learned that the first thing to do is apply hand brake! Couldn't figure out which way to turn the nuts, since jumping on that metal thing didn't seem to work either direction. Had to call Ed to verify *blur*

anti clockwise!

Though we did shop for a dress for CP for the dance...and found a GREAT one at the mall, pics soooon :-)

That's about all, malas to do update shoe section, tomorrow ++ lah :-)
