Damuan and Shoes

Went to the Damuan again with Agnes, all in an effort to drop 15 lbs for the dance on April 14th. Wish me luck! Since we're both Puteri Lilin, we went around 6pm.
Lawa view of the river on the right

Ripples after a boat zoomed by

Rasheed was SOOO mean when we were kids cos he used to scare the heck out of me about walking on the grass. (YES, I STILL REMEMBER!!!) I actually believed that anyone caught stepping on the grass would kena rotan and used to wait fearfully for a cage to drop down and trap perpetrators. I was very young. And very gullible.

Still feel weird about walking on the grass..grrrr

The view when we started off

An hour later (with Agnes running ahead)

Half-dead and sweating like a goat

On a more shoe-related note, Richard's left shoe burst into tears when it saw Mary's shoes up here. So to console it, here's a picture of Richard's left shoe taken in the conference hall a coupla days ago:

Those must be comfortable shoes. I bet you can walk all day in shoes like those and not feel a thing.

And just so CP's maroon boots dont feel left out:

These boots were made for walkin', and that's just what they'll do...

Alang2 put mine up too:

One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.
